We have two bar areas at The Globe Inn, offering a wide choice of well-kept local real ales, ciders and wines. The bar itself boasts beautiful exposed stone and beams with an open fire and log burning stove. We also offer a cosy snug area with sofas and cushions. Our large bar is perfect for chatting with locals and visitors alike and behind this, we have the Barn Room which is ideal for families, functions and parties.

The bar areas accommodate approximately 50 people and the restaurant approximately 26.

Our oak floored bar takes you through to the traditional games room with darts and pool, and dogs are welcome within these areas.

The Globe can be used exclusively for larger functions, although we do have facilities for more intimate get-togethers. Our large terrace and garden areas are perfect for small weddings. Our restaurant room can be utilised for more private events and is also available for presentations and meetings.

The functions we are particularly known for include parties, association functions, wakes and small weddings.

At The Globe Inn, our menus feature many traditional pub favourites as well as specials that make the most of all the glorious local produce available to us. All of our food is homemade and uses the freshest, local ingredients. We serve breakfasts, lunches and evening meals.

For al fresco dining, we offer our delightful patio and terrace area with stunning countryside views, just perfect for those milder days and evenings. On Sundays, we offer roast lunches - perfect for those stopping off when having a day’s boating.
